**CONNECTIVE CORRIDOR BUS DETOURS IN EFFECT DUE TO CONSTRUCTION.
Due to construction on University Ave., the current detour from campus to downtown for the Connective Corridor has the bus traveling down Van Buren St., left on Irving Ave., right on Waverly Ave., left on Crouse Ave., left on East Genesee St., and then connecting on to the regular route.
On the way back to campus, the detour from Irving Ave. and East Genesee St. has the bus traveling straight on Irving Ave., left on Forestry Dr., and then continuing on the regular route.
ALSO, PLEASE NOT THAT PICK-UP AT THE WAREHOUSE THIS SUMMER IS DIFFERENT BECAUSE OF EXTENSIVE CONSTRUCTION WORK AT THE WAREHOUSE, AND PARTIAL PARKING AREA CLOSURES DUE TO THAT ACTIVITY. THE CONNECTIVE CORRIDOR BUS STOP WILL BE ACROSS FROM THE WAREHOUSE PARKING LOT, DIRECTLY ON WASHINGTON STREET NEXT TO THE PUBLIC PARKING LOT. LOOK FOR THE BLUE BUS STOP SIGN AND THE ROUTE 443 – CONNECTIVE CORRIDOR BUS.
For your convenience, Connective Corridor buses can be picked up at any Centro bus stop.
Centro’s Connective Corridor bus service operates seven days a week (from 7:30am until 10:30pm Monday-Wednesday and from 7:30am until 2:30am, Thursday-Sunday), connecting SU’s campuses, SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, and downtown Syracuse. It does not operate weekends during summer break.
The Connective Corridor bus is FREE OF CHARGE for all riders and is the ideal way to travel to art and entertainment venues, businesses, and other destinations throughout the city. The bus service stops at all clearly-marked Centro bus stops along its route.
The Connective Corridor bus provides a convenient way to travel to cultural events and happenings in the city, including performances at Syracuse Stage and the Mulroy Civic Center. The bus also offers the public easy access to Syracuse University for events such as the University Lectures series, music performances, exhibitions at SU’s galleries and museums.
On the third Thursday of the month, check out TH3: A City Wide Art Open, when art venues remain open later in the evening and often offer free admission. Be sure to check the bus schedule, since it changes on semester breaks.
Free park-and-ride service is available at SU’s Manley Field House south parking lot after 5 pm, with limited paid parking available during SU athletic events. The south parking lot is located off of East Colvin Avenue near Comstock Avenue (see map).
