Syracuse University students working with the Connective Corridor have a big message to deliver in February.

#DINE is the theme of a billboard at the gateway to Armory Square designed by VPA School of Design student Tiffany Soohoo.

The message supports dining out downtown during February’s “Downtown Syracuse Dining Weeks” February 15 – 29, 2016  Tiffany is a fourth year Industrial and Interactive Design major studying in London this semester who remains connected to Syracuse through an innovative billboard series appearing through the 2015-2016 academic year.

Her design work frames a social media campaign, Experience’Cuse, and highlights ways in which Syracuse University students are engaged with downtown.  Response to the series has been extremely positive, as each month’s theme has appeared.  For instance, the #WORK message, which appeared just as the campus and community were returning to work after the holiday break generated an enormous social media response.

The bright colors enliven the winter landscape, and the clean graphics  and bold messages command attention.  Here is a peak at the series:

Bike – September 2015

Ride – October 2015

Live – November 2015

Shop – December 2015

Work – January 2016

Dine – February 2016
