Connective Corridor

Timeline

In March 2005, Syracuse University, National Grid and Congressman James Walsh proposed the Connective Corridor to create closer connections between the University Hill and downtown Syracuse.  Since proposed as merely a conceptual idea to bring people and resources together, partners in the project have worked to engage the community in all dimensions of the project’s development, from raising funds and establishing key design guidelines for project construction, to building stronger collaborations between the university community and arts organizations to showcase the many cultural happenings ocuring in the city.
