UVP – Urban Video Project

Urban Video Project (UVP) is a multimedia public art initiative funded by the Connective Corridor in partnership with Light Work, Syracuse University, the Everson Museum, Onondaga County, the Central New York Community Foundation and private donors.  UVP presents exhibitions by preeminent video artists from around the world, along with a popular outdoor summer film series projected on the walls of the iconic Everson Museum of Art. As an important international venue for the public presentation of video and electronic arts, UVP is one of the few projects in the United States dedicated to continuous and ongoing video art projections. UVP uses the latest in digital projection technology to project high-definition video or digital images. UVP Everson can project an image just shy of the size of an average IMAX screen, above the beautiful sculpture plaza of the Everson Museum.

Light Work is a nonprofit, artist-run organization dedicated to the support of artists working in photography and electronic media. Light Work is a member of CMAC, the Coalition of Museum and Art Centers at Syracuse University.
