Centro and The Warehouse Gallery are teaming to provide special service on the Connective Corridor shuttle bus to the University Lectures on February 28 and March 6.

The Warehouse Gallery will be extending it hours until 7:30 p.m. for anyone wishing to take the Connective Corridor shuttle bus to the University Lectures presentation on Wednesday, February 28. Wade Davis, explorer-in-residence for The National Geographic Society, will be the fourth University Lecturer for the 2006-07 academic year. His talk, entitled “Light at the Edge of the World: A Journey through the Realm of Vanishing Cultures,” begins at 7:30 p.m. at Hendricks Chapel on the SU main campus. The event is open to the public and free of charge.

By extending its hours, The Warehouse Gallery provides a unique opportunity to experience its playful, interactive exhibit with a wintry theme. Embracing Winter features knitted sculpture, psychedelic video, and interactive displays by American, Canadian and Italian artists. Hot cocoa and snacks will be offered for anyone wishing to stop by during its extended hours.

The Warehouse Gallery is located at 350 West Fayette Street at West Street in downtown Syracuse. Those traveling to the SU Campus can take the Corridor shuttle bus from the Centro bus stop located across the street on West Fayette Street next to Onondaga Creek.

The Corridor shuttle bus is a free service for all passengers, and will be operating on its normally scheduled time for Thursdays and Fridays. For more information and a schedule, follow the menu or click here.
