The bus is back! As students arrive back in Syracuse this week, they’ll see a new face on the Corridor with all new streetscapes and green bike lanes along University Ave. The Connective Corridor has a new bus route, too, starting Monday, August 27 – with expanded service to include Copper Beech Commons. Facade improvements and exterior construction are done at the Warehouse, and the Connective Corridor bus is back to its regular stop at the back door.
As Centro opens its new hub on September 4 and moves its Centro bus line off Fayette Street to Washington Street, Corridor buses will move from Washington Street to Fayette Street — making it even easier to get across the City along the Corridor mainline.
Check for the new schedule later this week on the SU transit website, as well as the Connective Corridor website. Also, watch for an all new on-board wayfinding system, with easy to read Corridor maps.
Hurray! Watch for the new fall schedule (and new service to Copper Beech Commons) starting later this month. Check our website for the new schedule and routes … and also watch for an updated mobile app that will make catching the free Corridor bus even easier … and new signage, maps and Corridor highlights on the mobile galleries inside the buses. An all new look … and much easier to USE.
