Expect some road construction on University Ave and East Genesee Street next week as the county, city and Barrett Paving work on green infrastructure projects. You’ll see some limited road closures, intermittent no parking signs, and road crews in this area Tuesday through Friday of next week. Work will start at the top of University and then make its way to East Genesee. Lanes will alternately be closed in each direction to allow for trucks pouring concrete. The crews will be working at a fast clip and the entire project will take between 3 – 4 days. They’ve been waiting for a good long dry stretch to do this since it involves pouring concrete.
