Partners leveraged more than $47 million in funding for this complex project.
Connective Corridor funding sources and uses are below:
- U.S. Department of Transportation / Federal Highway Administration SAFETEA Program, $3,612,000 to the City of Syracuse for design, engineering and construction;
- U.S. Department of Transportation / Federal Highway Administration TCSP Program, $2,182,600 to the City of Syracuse for design, engineering and construction;
- U.S. Department of Transportation / Federal Highway Administration SAFETEA Program, $3,992,000 to Centro (CNYRTA) for bus purchases, design and construction, Smart Bus technology;
- Syracuse University, $998,000 to Centro to support Connective Corridor (CNYRTA) bus purchases, design, construction, Smart Bus technology (as a required local match);
- Time Warner, $150,000 to Syracuse University for the Urban Video Project;
- National Grid, Urban Center / Commercial District Revitalization Program, $1,000,000 to Syracuse University for the Connective Corridor design competition, Warehouse lighting, CASE building infrastructure, lighting and enhancements as western terminus of the Connective Corridor;
- HUD, $190,000 to the City of Syracuse for improvements to Forman Park;
- Empire State Development, City-by-City Program, $10,000,000 to Syracuse University for Connective Corridor reconstruction and beautification;
- Dormitory Authority of the State of New York, $10,000,000 to Syracuse University for Connective Corridor reconstruction and beautification;
- U.S. Department of Transportation TEP Program, $1,550,000 to Onondaga County for Connective Corridor reconstruction and beautification;
- Onondaga County, $387,000 as match funds for Connective Corridor reconstruction (required local match);
U.S. Department of Transportation / Federal Highway Administration TIGER Program, $10,000,000 to the City of Syracuse for Connective Corridor reconstruction and beautification; - Onondaga County Green Infrastructure Fund, $2,605,870 to the City of Syracuse for Connective Corridor green infrastructure;
- Empire State Development Regional Economic Development Council (REDC), $450,000 to Syracuse University for façade improvement program rounds two and three;
- NYS Department of Transportation Marchiselli Matching Funds, $393,375 to the City of Syracuse as match funds for Connective Corridor reconstruction (required local match);
- City of Syracuse, $250,000 for Forman Park improvements;
- City of Syracuse, $131,000, for East Genesee Street reconstruction.
