SU offering free park-and-ride for the Baldwin Cultural Crawl

For those holding a “Passport to the Arts,” over 40 businesses and cultural organizations will offer free samples, discounts, giveaways and other activities throughout the two-day event. Participants can purchase passports at the Landmark Theatre, Erie Canal Museum, Syracuse University’s Schine Center Box Office, the Syracuse International Film Festival office at the Hotel Syracuse, Syracuse Stage and the Museum of Science and Technology (MOST).
The price is $20 per individual, $15 with a Metromail coupon, or $10 with a current college ID. Proceeds from the sale of passports will benefit the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund of Central New York.
Syracuse University will offer free parking for those riding the Connective Corridor bus (Centro route # 543). The Quad 4 parking lot across from the main Connective Corridor bus stop at College Place will be open after 5 p.m. on Friday, April 25 and all day Saturday, April 26. The Quad 4 parking lot can be accessed through the campus entrance at Comstock Ave and Euclid Ave.
Before 5 p.m. on Friday, April 25, those riding the bus will be able to park for free at Stadium, Henry, Fine, and Standart parking lots near the Carrier Dome off of Irving Ave. The nearest Connective Corridor bus stop for these lots is at Waverly Ave and Irving Ave.
The Connective Corridor bus route is a free service provided by Centro for all riders. It travels from Syracuse University to the Delavan Art Gallery on the Near West Side, stopping at marked Corridor bus stops along its route.
Additional parking is available throughout the Connective Corridor. Metered on-street parking is available for free after 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and all day on Saturday and Sunday. There are also a number of private parking lots available to choose for a small fee.
