Connective Corridor partner, the Redhouse, is launching its summer season, celebrating a decade of success going back to a small group of local artists searching for a home.  Finding a timeworn classic brick building at the gateway to Armory Square, they embarked on a $1.4 million capital campaign in 2002 to transform the former “boarding house” into an impressive arts center, opening in 2004. The coming summer season showcases the organization’s growth and presence as an anchor in Syracuse’s burgeoning Westside arts and cultural district.

The Redhouse is known for its diverse offerings – theatrical productions, concerts, gallery exhibitions, films and special events, all presented in a cutting edge multi-arts facility supported by high-standard equipment and capabilities. The Redhouse Theater has an 89 seat capacity with flex capacity to 120. The Redhouse Gallery Space is equally adaptable, with both a first floor café gallery and second floor gallery overlooking the stage.  The complex also features loft artist apartments, impressive offices and facilities for rent, and creative anchor tenants like SUBCAT, a professional music/sound recording and production company.

The Connective Corridor is exploring innovative new ways to partner with the Redhouse, including community and professional education programming, and is pleased to promote upcoming events:
