The Rosamond Gifford Lecture Series is the largest library-related lecture series in the US. It celebrates its 15th season this year with more lectures by some of the country’s best literary talent to enrich Central Upstate New York. The success of the series has allowed the Friends of the Central Library to contribute more than $250,000 to Onondaga County Central Library.
The luncheon will take place at the Renaissance Hotel in the Horizon’s Room on April 27th from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm. For more information contact FOCL Program Director, Denise Headd at 435-1832. The luncheon is limited to the first 75 people who RSVP, payments $25.00 per person for luncheon must be received by April 20.
Sara Gruen is a Canadian born dual citizen who moved to the States in 1999 to pursue a job in technical writing. She was laid off within two years time and decided to try her hand at writing fiction. An avid animal lover she began writing about what she loves most. She lives in Ashville, NC with her husband, three children, two dogs, two cats, three goats, and a horse.
