40 Below, with support from Harris Beach PLLC, has launched Syracuse Coworks, the region’s first coworking space. Syracuse Coworks, located in The Tech Garden, offers a low-cost, professional office space in a communal environment to the region’s young freelancers and entrepreneurs. The space offers membership packages and daily rates to accommodate all types of professionals. 40 Below and The Tech Garden are both affiliates of CenterState CEO.

With the support of Harris Beach, 40 Below’s Coworking Task Force was able to create a fully functioning coworking space in one year for entrepreneurs, independent professionals, and startup companies to offer an alternative form of working.

“Harris Beach had a goal to find a way to connect with young professionals and entrepreneurs in the Syracuse area,” said Susan Crossett, corporate strategy and public affairs advisor at Harris Beach. “We found that Syracuse Coworks was the perfect fit for supporting both activities.”

Syracuse Coworks offers a variety of membership levels from a daily $15 Drop-In rate to a full Resident rate at $225 per month with other levels in-between. Each member level provides additional enhancements and benefits building on base amenities such as wireless Internet, printing services, and access to conference rooms. Full time residents have 24-hour access to Syracuse Coworks, priority access to conference rooms, and a reserved, personal desk. All coworkers have access to The Tech Garden’s multi-media auditorium and kitchen.
