Urban Video Project (UVP) and the Connective Corridor Announce Addition of Audio and Major Upgrade to Projection Equipment

These upgrades will allow for all UVP exhibitions to include sound, a brighter, higher quality projection image, and greater equipment reliability for all works screened.

The audio, a permanent stereo installation in the plaza, was made possible through a generous grant from Central New York Community Foundation, Inc.

The new projector is a Barco HDQ 2K40, it has a 2k resolution with 40,000 Lumens at the center, and is currently the world’s brightest projector. Installation of the new projector was made possible through the generous support of the Connective Corridor and Syracuse University Chancellor’s Initiative.

Please note that, in order to ensure that new new equipment is fully operational for the next exhibition, UVP is adjusting its exhibition schedule.

The opening of Phil Solomon: Still Raining, Still Dreaming will be moved back to Tuesday, November 12.

The planned indoor screening of Avant Gaming and and reception on the plaza will start at 6:30pm on November 12 as planned.
