An Evening with Jesse Cook:  Saturday, June 7, 2014 ~ Concert at 9:00PM

Jesse Cook, Nuevo Flamenco Guitar Virtuoso, will be performing live to benefit Syracuse Stage on Saturday June 7th at the Schine Student Center on SU Campus. Considered one of the most influential figures in Nuevo Flamenco Music, Jesse incorporates elements of flamenco rumba, jazz, and many forms of world music into his signature style.

 ·         General Admission Tickets to the Concert are $30.

·         Cook’s music has been featured on Sex and The City, The Chris Isaak Show and several Olympic Games

·         Canada’s Gabrielle Daleman, and Russian pairs Stolbova and Klimov’s skated to Jesse’s music in their routines at the Olympic Games in Sochi

·         At the 2006 Winter Olympics, Irina Slutskaya of Russia won a bronze medal skating to Cook’s composition “Mario Takes a Walk”

·         Jesse is a Juno Award winner, Acoustic Guitar Player’s Choice Award silver winner in the Flamenco Category and a three-time winner of the Canadian Smooth Jazz award for Guitarist of the Year

The concert is included for guests of the 2014 Syracuse Stage Gala, an annual fundraiser presented by the Syracuse Stage Board of Trustees and the Syracuse Stage Guild.
